safemade products are food-grade material that is oven-safe, freezer-safe and dishwasher-safe. That means you can bake of freeze treats for your pet right inside any of your safemade bowls of stuffable (gimme) toys. Below are some great recipes to try!
* Some of the recipes call for wheat flour. For dogs with wheat allergies, substitute a proportional amount of the gluten free flour of your choice!

safemade sundaes

safemade sundaes are so easy to make and are a great way to give your dog a special treat— and keep them occupied! All it takes are 4 easy steps:
  1. Start with 1/3 cup of plain yogurt (low or non-fat)

  2. Choose a flavor by adding one of the following:
    • 1 small (4 oz.) jar of baby food (great flavors to try are sweet potato, carrot, banana, or any meat variety)
    • ½ cup mashed banana
    • ½ cup crushed pineapple
    • ¼ cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  3. Add a mix-in! Try ¼ cup of the following options:
    • Shredded or diced carrots
    • Peanuts
    • Kibble
    • Crushed biscuits
  4. Fill your safemade toy and freeze. This recipe will make enough filling for a large size toy— if you have a smaller toy, you can refrigerate any leftover sundae to use later for up to 5 days.
Once your dog has finished their safemade sundae, rinse with hot water or wash in the dishwasher before refilling.

Hot tip! If you would like to fill the safemade biggie bone, hold upright with plastic wrap covering the bottom opening and hold in place with your thumb. Once filled, wrap the biggie bone with the plastic wrap to keep the filling inside while it freezes.
